I recently discovered So-Hee Park's manhwa "Goong" and fell in love with it.
Due to a promise between the former king of Korea and an ordinary, strong-willed girl's grandfather, our heroine finds herself betrothed to a seemingly cold-hearted prince of Korea. How can she marry a guy who she overheard him proposing to another girl! Both unwilling parties agree to the marriage, each with his and her own different motivations for the agreement to marry. Can love bloom under the strain of love rivals and political ambitions? (credits to The Manga Hut for the synopsis)
These are the two main characters from the manhwa: Lee Shin(the Crown Prince) and his wife Shin Chae-kyeong.
Yeah, I've noticed that the majority of the Goong art on DA consists out of the drama stuff. Truth be told, I'd expected there to be a lot more manwha based art.
I've heard that the drama is a bit different than the manwha (Shin doesn't abdicate his right to the throne for starters), but I like Shin's character in both. Although he could be an ass at times...
Whaaaaa, here we go again with the clothes!! Why am I the only one who can't draw clothes
There's something very Tamaki-ish about this young man, which I like (dammit, that reminds me that among all the stuff I want to draw/finish, there's a Tamaki cosplaying Howl) I'm definitely going to check Goong when I've got a bit more time - because, knowing myself, I'll just keep readng and reading and reading.
<--- needs to catch up on the manwha, because I haven't read it in a while XD
You are welcome
